The role of Leybold vacuum pump oil:

1. Sealing - to prevent the atmosphere from entering the exhaust valve, there are gaps between the relative moving parts (rotor and stator, rotor and rotor slot, etc.).

2. Lubrication - lubrication between relative moving parts to reduce damage.

3. Cooling - the oil circulates between the pump and the oil tank to dissipate heat and cool.

4. Encapsulation - encapsulate dust particles or other particles caused by damage in oil to reduce damage.
